欢迎使用第三岸（thethirdshore.com，下称「本刊」）。访问或使用本网站、注册账号、购买会员资格，即表示你已阅读并同意以下条款。
1. 关于本刊
本刊为独立编辑、不定期出版的中英双语文学刊物，由独立主编以个人名义运营。
2. 内容与会员资格
每一期当期文章对所有读者免费开放，无需注册。已发布的往期文章对付费会员开放。
会员资格是 一次性付款、永久有效，权限范围为：
- 本刊已发布的全部往期文章；
- 未来发布并自然进入「往期」档案的全部文章。
会员资格不得转让、租借或与他人共享账号。本刊有权对存在异常使用模式的账号采取限制措施。
3. 退款政策
所有会员费用不予退款。详细说明见 退款政策。
4. 停刊条款
本刊保留随时停止出版的权利，由编辑独立决定。停刊后会员档案访问权限随之终止，不会按比例退还。这一条款已在购买流程中明确告知，购买即视为同意。
5. 内容版权
本刊发表的每一篇作品的著作权归原作者所有。本刊持有非排他的发布与展示授权。
会员可以为个人非商业用途阅读本刊内容。未经原作者书面授权，不得：
- 转载、翻印、改编、翻译本刊文章；
- 用于训练机器学习/AI 模型或其他自动化数据采集；
- 用于商业目的或公开传播。
6. 账号
你需要为账号下的所有活动负责，包括保护登录凭证安全。账号被盗用产生的损失由账号持有人承担。如发现可疑活动，请立即联系 support@thethirdshore.com。
7. 终止与封禁
若用户：违反本条款；以滥用方式使用服务（如批量爬取、共享账号、绕过付费墙）；或进行欺诈性付款，本刊保留终止账号、收回会员资格的权利，且不予退款。
8. 免责声明
本刊以「按现状」提供。我们尽力维护服务可用，但不保证绝对无中断、无错误。任何因使用或无法使用本服务造成的间接或后果性损失，本刊不承担责任，总责任以你支付的会员费用为上限。

我们对你个人信息的处理见 隐私政策。
10. 条款变更
本条款可能更新。重大变更我们会在站内通知。继续使用本服务视为接受更新后的条款。

Welcome to The Third Shore (thethirdshore.com, hereafter “the journal”). By using this site, registering an account, or purchasing a membership, you agree to the following terms.
1. About
The journal is an independently edited, irregularly published bilingual (Chinese / English) literary publication, operated by a single editor as a sole proprietorship.
2. Content and membership
Each issue’s current edition is free to read for everyone, no account required. The journal’s archive of past issues is available to paid members.
Membership is a one-time payment for permanent access, covering:
- All previously published issues currently in the archive;
- All future issues, once they move from current into the archive.
Memberships are non-transferable; account sharing is not permitted. The journal reserves the right to restrict accounts showing abusive usage patterns.
3. Refunds
All membership purchases are non-refundable. See the Refund Policy for full terms.
4. Cessation of publication
The journal reserves the right to cease publication at any time, at the sole discretion of the editor. Upon cessation, member archive access ends, and no prorated refunds are issued. This is disclosed before purchase and accepted as part of the transaction.
5. Copyright
Copyright in each work published by the journal remains with its original author. The journal holds non-exclusive rights to publish and display the work.
Members may read the journal’s content for personal, non-commercial use only. Without written permission from the original author, you may not:
- Reproduce, republish, adapt, or translate the journal’s articles;
- Use the content to train machine-learning / AI models or for any other automated data collection;
- Use the content for commercial purposes or public distribution.
6. Account
You are responsible for all activity under your account, including keeping your login credentials secure. You bear any loss arising from unauthorized account use. If you notice suspicious activity, contact support@thethirdshore.com immediately.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate accounts and revoke memberships, without refund, where users: violate these terms; abuse the service (e.g. bulk scraping, account sharing, paywall circumvention); or attempt fraudulent payments.
8. Disclaimer
The journal is provided on an “as is” basis. We do our best to keep the service available, but make no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability is capped at the membership fee you paid.
9. Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated. We will notify members of material changes on the site. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
