一、收据
超市收据在口袋里洗过
“鸡蛋”变成一团灰
“牛奶”还在
总价看不清
我把它夹进书里
像夹住一次
没有发生的晚饭
二、洗衣机
洗衣机停在七分钟
衬衫、袜子、白色毛巾
绕成一团
我没有按继续
站在旁边
听它什么也不说
三、塑料椅
楼下那把红椅子
少了一条腿
有人用砖垫着
它仍然面对马路
每天看见不同的人
把同一袋垃圾
放到桶边
四、药盒
周一：空
周二：空
周三：一粒蓝色
它不属于任何病
只是昨晚的灯
太亮
五、未接来电
手机震了一下
屏幕又黑了
我没有回拨
窗外有人拖动铁门
整栋楼
短暂地
以为自己醒着
I. Receipt
A supermarket receipt went through the wash.
Eggs became a patch of grey.
Milk remained.
The total cannot be read.
I press it into a book
as if holding there
a dinner that did not happen.
II. Washing Machine
The washing machine stops at seven minutes.
Shirts, socks, a white towel
turn into one knot.
I do not press Continue.
I stand beside it
and listen to it say nothing.
III. Plastic Chair
The red chair downstairs
is missing a leg.
Someone props it on a brick.
It still faces the road
and watches different people
put the same bag of rubbish
beside the bin each day.
IV. Pillbox
Monday: empty.
Tuesday: empty.
Wednesday: one blue pill.
It belongs to no illness.
Only last night
the light was
too bright.
V. Missed Call
The phone trembles once.
The screen goes dark again.
I do not call back.
Outside, someone drags an iron gate.
For a short time
the entire building
thinks it is awake.
